As one of today’s most popular dental procedures …dental veneers made of porcelain or dental resin are basically a long term solution to restoring many years of natural wear on your teeth.
What are porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers are a thin layer of ceramic or resin that is bonded directly to your teeth. Cosmetic dentist Dr.David Babin will work with you to help you choose the shade, shape and size of veneer to best suit your appearance and result in a natural looking smile. Veneers enable us to restore discoloured, worn, cracked, chipped, spaced or misaligned teeth.
By placing veneers over your teeth Dr. Babin is able to lengthen short or worn teeth, close gaps between teeth and improve your overall smile, often in as little as 2 to 3 dental visits.
Veneers: where function and beauty converge
Although most people consider veneers a cosmetic dental procedure, they also serve a functional purpose by strengthening teeth previously weakened by cavities and fillings. Porcelain veneers are also less likely to stain than large white fillings. In fact, dental veneers are one of the most natural looking and long lasting smile restoration procedures available in dentistry today. Once completed your veneers will look and feel just like natural teeth.
Direct resin veneers may be recommended in some instances as an alternative to porcelain veneers. While resin veneers are not able to correct as many imperfections as porcelain veneers, the have proven to be very useful in some cases.

Our Process
If you are looking for a smile makeover everything starts with a consultation. During your consult we will discuss what the goals are with your smile. Our team of experts will guide you through the design process by asking specific questions so that we fully understand what your dream smile looks like.
In your next visit we will take a mold of your mouth and start working on redesigning your smile. Once the porcelain has been fabricated by the lab, additional appointments will be set up to complete the smile makeover process. The number of appointments can vary depending on how many veneers you are getting.
